Dual affine-metrically connected spaces

Russian Mathematics, 2009
In this paper we study the dual geometry of a normalized affinely connected space An,n. In particular, we consider the dual affine-metrically connected spaces \( \mathop M\limits^p _{n,n} \) induced by a nondegenerate normalization of an affine-metrically connected space Mn,n.

Self-dual connections, torsion and Ashtekar’s variables

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1992
Two identities are derived in terms of an arbitrary self-dual connection and the associated spin connection which show that torsion contributes to the simple complex-valued structure of the Hamiltonian and vector constraints in Ashtekar’s formulation of canonical gravity.

On Dual Connectivity in 6G Leo Constellation

2024 IEEE International Mediterranean Conference on Communications and Networking (MeditCom)
Dual connectivity (DC) has garnered significant attention in 5G evolution, allowing for enhancing throughput and reliability by leveraging the channel conditions of two paths. However, when the paths exhibit different delays, such as in terrestrial and non-terrestrial integrated networks with multi-orbit topologies or in networks characterized by ...

Dual Semispray. Nonlinear Connections

2003
The notion of semispray from the geometry of higher order Lagrange spaces has a dual correspondent in the geometrical theory of the Hamilton spaces of orderk. The same remark is true concerning the concept of nonlinear connection which is canonical related with that of semispray.

Robustness of N-Dual Fuzzy Connectives

2011
The main contribution of this paper is concerned with the robustness of N-dual connectives in fuzzy reasoning. Starting with an evaluation of the sensitivity in n-order function on [0,1], we apply the results in the D-coimplication classes. The paper formally states that the robustness of pairs of mutual dual n-order functions can be compared ...

Connecting Spirals for Wideband Dual Polarization Phased Array

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2011
A technique is presented to design dual polarization spiral antenna phased arrays using mono polarization spirals in an alternating configuration. The proposed technique consists of connecting cross polarized neighboring spirals. Thus, the currents in the arms of one spiral flow into the arms of the adjacent spirals.

Dual Connectives in Fuzzy Reasoning

2012
Paper concerns applications of Duality Principle in fuzzy algebra, fuzzy logics and approximate reasoning. Examples of important dual notions from lattice theory to relation theory and from fuzzy logic to fuzzy relational equations are presented. In particular properties of dual connectives of multi-valued logic are described and properties of dual ...

Super Resolution Using Dual Path Connections

Proceedings of the 27th ACM International Conference on Multimedia, 2019
\beginabstract Deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have been demonstrated to be effective for singe-image super-resolution (SISR) recently. Inspired by Chen et al. \citechen2017dual, we propose a novel method for SISR by introducing dual path connections into a deep convolutional neural network, we call it SRDPN.
