Dual optimality of the phase-only filter

Optics Letters, 1988
Horner and Gianino1 suggested a phase-only filter of unit modulus as a correlation filter for pattern recognition. This filter consists of the phase of the classical matched filter and Is commonly referred to as “the” phase-only filter (POF). The POF has the potential of 100% light throughput efficiency, and it has been demonstrated to yield sharp ...

Phase unwrapping method combining dual-frequency heterodyne with dual complementary phase encoding

Optical Engineering, 2021
Phase encoding and phase-shift profilometry are two commonly used 3D measurement techniques. However, the acquired phases in the techniques are subject to jump errors due to phase ambiguity and phase errors caused by multiple heterodyne. The phase-shifting profilometry also makes the selection of fringe period difficult.

Dual-phase holograms: improved design

Applied Optics, 1987
An analysis of dual-phase holograms is presented which concentrates on the effects of phase quantization on hologram design. Two different quantization schemes are investigated and used in conjunction with an iterative design algorithm to reduce quantization error.

Relative phase in dual tree shearlets

Signal Processing, 2014
The relative phase is an efficient approach to exploit the phase information of complex wavelet coefficients. However, the relative phase original generated from the pyramidal dual tree directional filter bank (PDTDFB) has three defaults. Firstly, its texture retrieval performance does not simultaneously improve in general as the scale increases ...

Properties of Dual Phase Steels

Materials Testing, 2003
Two different heat treatment (intercriticaly and intermediate heat treatments) have been applied to steels containing 0.16% C in order to obtain dual-phase steels (DPS) with different microstructures. One set of intermediate quenched samples were tempered.

Dual-Phase Steels

1990
Abstract Dual-phase steels are a new class of high-strength low alloy (HSLA) steels characterized by a microstructure consisting of about 20% hard martensite particles dispersed in a soft ductile ferrite matrix. In addition to high tensile strength, in the range of 550 MPa (80 ksi), dual-phase steels exhibit continuous yielding ...

Dual-Phase Steels

2013
Abstract Dual-phase (DP) steels have the widest usage in automotive industry because of their excellent combination of strength and ductility. This chapter provides an overview of the composition, microstructure, processing, deformation mechanism, mechanical properties, formability, and special attributes of DP steels.

Fatigue of a dual- phase steel

Metallurgical Transactions A, 1979
A study has been made of the fatigue of a V containing dual-phase steel, whose tensile strength is equivalent to that of SAE 980X high strength, low-alloy (HSLA) steels, as a function of prestrain. It is found that the cyclic stress-strain curve, strain-life response and notch sensitivity are little affected by pre-strains of up to 8 pct: This is in ...

The formability of a dual phase steel

Metallurgical Transactions A, 1981
The mechanical properties and the forming behavior of a dual phase sheet steel have been assessed. The effect of downgaging on forming properties was especially considered because of its importance in lighter weight, energy saving materials. A lower bound method has been used to determine the forming limit diagrams of the steel. Results have shown that
