The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Assurring microstructural homogeniety in dual phase and trip steels
The presence of ferrite/pearlite bands in dual phase and TRIP assisted steels is a consequence of micro-chemical segregation which causes mechanical properties anisotropy.

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

An Alternative Approach to the Fracture Toughness of Dual Phase Steels
In this study, the effects of ferrite morphology and of ferrite volume fraction on the mechanical properties and the fracture toughness values (K (Ic) ) of dual phase steels were investigated.

Grain refinement in dual phase steels
In this work, a potential production route of ultra fine grained dual phase (DP) steels was studied. Deformation induced ferrite transformation (DIFT) was applied in laboratory tests employing a Gleeble 3500 thermo-mechanical simulator to produce fine ...
