Dual-Band Dual-Mode Antenna with Polarization Diversity
Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2021A compact dual-band dual-mode and dual-polarized (DBDMDP) antenna based on an asymmetrical Y-shaped microstrip line feeding along with a square ring radiator is proposed. The structure is loaded with two pairs of L-strips to extend the lower mode bandwidth (center frequency fc = 9.36 GHz).

Spatial modulation with dual-polarized antennas
2015 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2015In this work, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication employing spatial modulation (SM) is considered with dual-polarized antennas over correlated Rayleigh and Rician channels. A general average bit-error probability (ABEP) upper bounding framework is presented for the dual-polarized SM-MIMO systems.

Cross-polarization and sidelobe suppression in dual linear polarization antenna arrays [PDF]
In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in dual linear polarization antennas for various purposes, e.g. polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging.

Dual-Band Dual-Sense Polarization Reconfigurable Circularly Polarized Antenna
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2019This letter presents a novel dual-band circularly polarized slot antenna. The far-field polarization of the antenna can be switched electronically between left-hand circular polarization and right-hand circular polarization. A 50 Ω microstrip feed line is divided into four arms those excite a ground plane slot.

Jointly Shaped Dual Polarization Systems
Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC) 2021, 2021We present a probabilistic shaping algorithm whereby both polarization streams of a dual-polarized system are shaped together. The proposed method offers 0.2-0.92 dB gains over existing shaping schemes for the same block-length.

The recursive polarized dual calculus
Proceedings of the ACM SIGPLAN 2014 Workshop on Programming Languages meets Program Verification, 2014This paper introduces the Recursive Polarized Dual Calculus (RP-DC), based on Wadler's Dual Calculus. RP-DC features a polarized form of reduction, which enables several simplifications over previous related systems. It also adds inductive types with recursion, from which coinductive types with corecursion can be defined. Typing and reduction relations

Estimation of the degree of polarization in dual-polarized SAR imagery
2010 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing, 2010Analysis of dual-polarized SAR imagery has gained new importance with the recent launches of ALOS PALSAR, RADARSAT-2, and TerraSAR-X polarimetric SAR systems. Information contained in polarimetric images, collected by these SAR systems, can be characterized by a scalar parameter called the degree of polarization. This parameter has long been recognized

High isolation dual band dual polarized antenna
6th International Symposium on Telecommunications (IST), 2012A new configuration of the dual-band and dual-polarized antenna is presented, which is fed by aperture coupling for the existing mobile communication systems working over 870–960 MHz (GSM) and 1710–2180 MHz (DCS/UMTS) frequency band. In this paper DU band stands for DCS/UMTS band. Measurement results show that the proposed antenna yields good broadside

Summary: Assume \(K\) is a rotor in a regular simplex of height 1 in an \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space. Let \(K^*\) denote the polar dual of \(K\). Then the volume \(V(K^*)\) satisfies the inequality \[ V(K^*) \geq (n + 1)^n \omega_n, \] where \(\omega_n\) denotes the volume of an \(n\)-dimensional unit ball. Equality holds if and only if \(K\) is a

Dual-band dual-polarization microstrip antenna
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium (IEEE Cat. No.02CH37313), 2003The analysis of a single patch microstrip antenna based on the impedance model, emphasizing mainly the design considerations for dual-band and dual-polarization, is presented here. A length compensation technique is proposed to achieve the exact dual mode resonance with the desired accuracy.
