Dual polarized transmitarray lens
The 8th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2014), 2014A new dual polarization lens working at the frequency of 30GHz has been designed and simulated. The design of the unit cell is based on a structure of four stacked patches coupled by a symmetric cross that achieves a 360-degree phase-shift for both polarizations by varying a different dimension of the patches for each one.

A dual-band dual-polarized radar antenna
2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559), 2002In a dynamic radar cross section (RCS) measurement system, dual-band and dual-polarization performance is generally required by the antenna system and polarization performance in the two bands should be the same. Some problems including dual-band coplane, dual-band composed feed and polarized conversion are produced.

Dual-polarized broadband dipole
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2003A dual-polarized, broadband antenna made up of two single-polarized dipoles is presented. The antenna is mounted on a ground plane to produce a low-profile structure. Two fractal-like elements are used, but a very wide bandwidth is only achieved by making adjustments to the shape to reduce the coupling between the two polarizations.

Simultaneous laser oscillation of four nondegenerate polarization and propagation direction eigenstates of a single TEM 00 mode was observed in a ring laser cavity. The observed polarization and frequency properties of the ring laser were analyzed in terms of the Jones matrix calculus.

Cross-polarization in dual polarization switching antennas
International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, 2007This paper presents the effect of the interaction between the switch and the antenna parameters on the cross-polarization of a dual polarization switching antenna. It is shown that the isolated antenna cross-polarization combines with the isolation of the switch giving place to a degradation of the polarization purity of the combined dual polarization ...

Dual band dual polarized antenna for SAR
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2015A novel antenna consisting of a C band dual polarized waveguide slot antenna and an L band slot antenna with shared apertures is presented. The antenna meets the requirement of a dual band SAR application.

Dual reflector polarization transformers
Antennas and Propagation Society Symposium 1991 Digest, 2002A few different kinds of first-order partial differential equation (PDE) are presented to shape the subreflector surface in a dual-reflector antenna, transforming the given polarization distribution of the incident toroidal wave to that given over the plane wave. The main reflector is calculated as soon as the subreflector is known.

Polarization Error Compensation in Dual-Polarization IFOGs
2017In this chapter, two kinds of dual-polarization IFOGs are designed and experimentally tested, and the phenomenon of polarization nonreciprocity (PN) error compensation between two polarizations is observed. The experimental structures ensure that two polarizations are independent for rotation sensing.

Summary: Assume \(K\) is a rotor in a regular simplex of height 1 in an \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space. Let \(K^*\) denote the polar dual of \(K\). Then the volume \(V(K^*)\) satisfies the inequality \[ V(K^*) \geq (n + 1)^n \omega_n, \] where \(\omega_n\) denotes the volume of an \(n\)-dimensional unit ball. Equality holds if and only if \(K\) is a
