Geometrisation of Ohm’s reciprocity relation in a holographic plasma

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
It has been recently pointed out that the familiar reciprocity relation between the conductivity σ and resistivity ρ, which I refer to as Ohm’s reciprocity relation, should not be expected to hold in all possible settings, but is rather a property that ...

Biorthogonal and Dual Configurations and the Reciprocal Normal Distribution

open access: yesThe Annals of Mathematical Statistics, 1969
0. Summary. In this note we discuss the notions of biorthogonal and dual configurations and their relevance in certain statistical applications. The first application is to the distribution of a random matrix related to a multi-variatenormal sample matrix. As with the latter, the distribution is preserved by (certain) linear transformations.

Encyclopedia of 2D β′‐In2Se3 Growth Using Chemical Vapor Deposition: The Effects of Synthesis Parameters Onto Material Quality

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Application of DRBEM for 2D sine-Gordon equation

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2021
This research paper introduces an application of dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) for the solution of sine-Gordon equation (SGE) in two-space dimension. Initially, the time derivatives are expanded using central difference schemes.

A dual-reciprocity boundary element method for axisymmetric thermoelastostatic analysis of nonhomogeneous materials

open access: yes, 2012
The problem of determining the axisymmetric time-independent temperature and thermoelastic displacement and stress fields in a nonhomogeneous material is solved numerically by using a dual-reciprocity boundary element technique.
