Dual fuzzy neighbourhood spaces I
Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1991Starting with an arbitrary fuzzy topological space, the author introduces the notion of fuzzy neighborhood-base space which corresponds to a fuzzy neighborhood space originated to \textit{R. Lowen} [ibid. 7, 165-189 (1982; Zbl 0487.54008)]. Categorically speaking, this correspondence goes as follows: Let FNBS be the category of fuzzy neighborhood-base ...

In this chapter, we study dual polar spaces. These are certain point-line geometries that are closely related to polar spaces. We study several properties of these geometries and describe several families. Dual polar spaces are examples of near polygons.

A dual Kōmura space is by definition a locally convex space E in which for any absolutely convex bounded set A there is another B ⊃ A such that the natural mapping E A → E B is weakly compact. Fundamental properties and hereditarity are discussed together with motivations and applications.

I imagine that most speakers at this Mackeyfest, if they refer to his work, will concentrate on representations of locally compact groups. This subject, of course, constitutes the main body of his research.
