Biocompatible Multifunctional Polymeric Material for Mineralized Tissue Adhesion
Advanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.A multifunctional thiol‐ene resin system is developed that provides a strong adhesive interface with dentin while maintaining biocompatibility with dental pulp cells. The addition of an acidic monomer to a triacrylate‐trithiol‐based resin achieves over 10 MPa shear bond strength by reinforcing the hybrid interface.Yan Luo, Chenyang Zhang, Sage Fulco, Jingyi Liu, Keyu Chen, Yuntao Hu, Yuchen Jiang, Rui Xu, Leela Rakesh, Ozer Fusun, Ottman Tertuliano, Kevin Turner, Kyle H. Advanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.Molecule 2, which contains a shorter oligoether chain, binds to tamoxifen via structural similarity forming micelles with a positive surface charge, thereby enhancing cellular uptake. These fluorescent micelles induce lipid droplet (LD) accumulation, exhibit strong fluorescence, and effectively overcome tamoxifen resistance by synergizing with orlistat‐Jung Yeon Park, Jeehee Lee, Young Yong Kim, Sanghee Lee, Yongju Kim +4 morewiley +1 more sourceMesoporous Bioactive Glasses: A Powerful Tool in Tissue Engineering and Drug Delivery
Advanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView. This work is a comprehensive revision of bioactive glasses (BGs), pioneered by Prof. L.L. Hench, which are key in bone repair and regenerative medicine. Sol–gel methods and mesoporous designs enhanced their bioactivity, ions, and drug delivery. BGs now support gene therapy and 3D‐printed scaffolds, enabling personalized, multifunctional treatments in ...Natividad Gómez‐Cerezo, Daniel Lozano, Antonio J.
