Recombinant Proteins: A Molecular Tool to Understand Marine Adhesion and to Advance Biomaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The production of recombinant proteins represents a fundamental step in the characterisation of marine invertebrate adhesives and in the development of bio‐inspired glues. The association of these proteins with other components such as ions, proteins, polysaccharides, or polymers enables the fabrication of biomaterials for various healthcare ...

Duality and integrability in superstring and gauge field theory

2023

On duality invariance in simple gauge theories including electromagnetic-type fields with sources

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1979
Duality transformations of the type defined in electromagnetic theory are discussed and classified in terms of those having a direct relationship to an internal-symmetry structure of a given gauge theory and those that do not. It is argued that to build a satisfactory generalized electromagnetic theory with local duality invariance into a gauge theory,

Topological conformal field theories, gauged Wess-Zumino-Witten models, and target-space duality

Physical Review D, 1992
The topological Kazama-Suzuki models are realized as gauged Wess-Zumino-Witten (WZW) models. Instead of gauging supersymmetric WZW models, we start with the bosonic theories. Two different subgroups of the group {ital G}{sub {ital L}}{direct product}{ital G}{sub {ital R}} are gauged: one is left-right symmetric and another is asymmetric.

Chronogroup via Quantum Field Theory F: Algebraic-Topological Unification in Gauge Theory and Holographic Duality

Abstract This paper proposes an algebra-topology unified framework based on Chronogroup to address non-perturbative challenges in gauge theory and quantum gravity. By constructing the time-varying group law (∗t) and spectral temporal cohomology (Hk t(G,E)), we prove: 1.
