Development of an Efficient Fourth-Order Non-Oscillatory Scheme for Compressible Flows
An efficient fourth-order modified flux approach ENO scheme is developed to capture shocks and contact surfaces in unsteady compressible flows. No excessive additional computational time is required for the type of high-order ENO schemes.

Abstract Advances in collection of environmental DNA (eDNA) through active air filtration and sampling from vegetation (leaf swabs) have demonstrated the promise of using airborne eDNA for terrestrial vertebrate surveys. However, methods are at an early stage, and we lack insights into the effect of air filtration time and the complementarity between ...

Bioeconomic modeling of wetlands and waterfowl in Western Canada: Accounting for amenity values
This study extends an original bioeconomic model of optimal duck harvest and wetland retention by bringing in amenity values related to the nonmarket (in situ) benefits of waterfowl plsi the ecosystem values of wetlands themselves.
