Mobile consumers influence the shoreward edge of intertidal seagrass ecosystems
Journal of Animal Ecology, EarlyView.Ecological paradigms suggest that the environmentally stressful edge of a habitat is determined by physical factors. The work finds that, counter to these paradigms, an environmentally stressful edge can also be impacted by biotic interactions and are more complex than suggested.
