Approximation results on Dunkl generalization of Phillips operators via q-calculus

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
The main purpose of this paper is to construct q-Phillips operators generated by Dunkl generalization. We prove several results of Korovkin type and estimate the order of convergence in terms of several moduli of continuity.

Hankel transform, K-Bessel functions and zeta distributions in the Dunkl setting [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
We study analytic aspects of the Dunkl-type Hankel transform, which goes back to Baker and Forrester and, in an earlier symmetrized version, to Macdonald.

Characterization of q-Dunkl Appell symmetric orthogonal q-polynomials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We introduce a q-Dunkl operator T(θ,q)≔Hq+θH−1 where Hq is the q-derivative one and we determine all symmetric T(θ,q)-Appell classical orthogonal q-polynomials.

Changing Gender Relations in Canada: The Rise of Gender‐Neutral Forenames

open access: yesCanadian Review of Sociology/Revue canadienne de sociologie, Volume 63, Issue 2, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Historically, gender‐neutral or androgynous first names have been relatively rare, showing little sign of upward or downward temporal trend in Canada or elsewhere. Using digitized birth registration records from three provinces (Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario) and for all of Canada, we highlight a rise, beginning around 1990, in the ...

q-Analogue of the Dunkl Transform on the Real Line [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
[[abstract]]In this paper, we consider a q-analogue of the Dunkl operator on R, we dene and study its associated Fourier transform which is a q- analogue of the Dunkl transform.

Dirac Operators for the Dunkl Angular Momentum Algebra [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
We define a family of Dirac operators for the Dunkl angular momentum algebra depending on certain central elements of the group algebra of the Pin cover of the Weyl group inherent to the rational Cherednik algebra.

A Miyaoka–Yau inequality for hyperplane arrangements in CPn$\mathbb {CP}^n$

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract Let H$\mathcal {H}$ be a hyperplane arrangement in CPn$\mathbb {CP}^n$. We define a quadratic form Q$Q$ on RH$\mathbb {R}^{\mathcal {H}}$ that is entirely determined by the intersection poset of H$\mathcal {H}$. Using the Bogomolov–Gieseker inequality for parabolic bundles, we show that if a∈RH$\mathbf {a}\in \mathbb {R}^{\mathcal {H}}$ is ...

Facies control on provenance shift during the early Cambrian transgression in Korea: Detrital zircon and geochemical evidence

open access: yesSedimentology, Volume 73, Issue 2, Page 418-440, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The early Cambrian transgression that flooded continental margins worldwide produced extensive sedimentary records that archive valuable information about palaeogeography and basin dynamics. This study integrates detrital zircon U–Pb geochronology and wholerock geochemistry from the Myeonsan and Myobong formations of the basal Taebaek Group ...

Dunkl positive denite functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
[[abstract]]We introduce the notion of Dunkl positive definite and strictly positive definite functions on R^d. This done by the use of the properties of Dunkl translation. We establish the analogue of Bochner's theorem in Dunkl setting.

Approximation and Orthogonality on Fully Symmetric Domains

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 156, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT We study orthogonal polynomials on a fully symmetric planar domain Ω$\Omega$ that is generated by a certain triangle in the first quadrant. For a family of weight functions on Ω$\Omega$, we show that orthogonal polynomials that are even in the second variable on Ω$\Omega$ can be identified with orthogonal polynomials on the unit disk composed ...
