The role of fiberoptic endoscopy in the diagnosis and management of duodenal neoplasms
The American Journal of Digestive Diseases, 1975This is a study of 11 cases of duodenal tumors encountered in 1200 consecutive duodenoscopic examinations over a 34-month period at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Of these tumors, 4 were benign and 7 malignant. Endoscopic removal of 2 benign tumors was accomplished without morbidity and obviated the necessity for transabdominal surgery. The 2 other benign

Endoscopic biopsies for nonampullary duodenal epithelial neoplasms (NADENs) can induce submucosal fibrosis, making endoscopic resection difficult. However, no biopsy‐free method exists to distinguish between NADENs and non‐neoplasms.

ENDOSCOPIC CLASSIFICATION OF NEOPLASMS OF THE MAJOR DUODENAL PAPILLA
Oncology bulletin of the Volga region, 2022. Adenomas of the Vater papilla are benign neoplasms, but due to the tendency to malignancy in 30-40% of cases they should be removed. Methods of removing tumors of the Vater papilla are pancreatoduodenal resection, transduodenal papillectomy and ...

Duodenal neoplasms of gastric phenotype: reports of two cases and a brief review of literature.
European Journal of Cancer Prevention, 2020Duodenal neoplasms of gastric phenotype are uncommon epithelial neoplasms. Pyloric gland adenomas should be recognized as neoplasms with risk for transformation into invasive adenocarcinoma (Choi et al. 2018).

A case of neuroendocrine neoplasm of the minor duodenal papilla
Clinical Journal of Gastroenterology, 2022A 61-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm with no symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) depicted a 15 mm nodular lesion at the descending portion of duodenum. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed a submucosal tumor-like mass at the minor duodenal papilla. A boring biopsy of the tumor revealed a
