Ruptured pancreaticoduodenal artery aneurysm presenting with duodenal obstruction
Visceral aneurysms of the pancreaticoduodenal arcades are rare. Although these aneurysms are often asymptomatic and identified incidentally on cross-sectional imaging, aneurysm rupture presents significant morbidity.

ABSTRACT ABCA3 deficiency should be suspected in term infants with persistent respiratory distress from birth. This case highlights how early whole‐exome sequencing established the diagnosis after extensive investigations, identified an intermediate phenotype caused by compound heterozygous variants, and guided targeted multidisciplinary management.

Pediatric Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome: A Rare Case Report and Literature Review From Sudan
ABSTRACT A 10‐year‐old Sudanese boy with chronic bilious vomiting, cachexia, and scaphoid abdomen was diagnosed with Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome (SMAS) via CT angiography. After failed conservative management, side‐to‐side duodenojejunostomy resolved symptoms.

The relationship between muscle activity at the terminal region of the common bile duct and the duodenal muscle was examined in rabbits. The rhythmic muscle activity in the terminal region was synchronous with duodenal muscle activity.
