This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.

Generic approach for deriving reliability and maintenance requirements through consideration of in-context customer objectives [PDF]
Not all implementations of reliability are equally effective at providing customer and user benefit. Random system failure with no prior warning or failure accommodation will have an immediate, usually adverse impact on operation.

Liquidity constraints and time non-separable preferences: simulating models with large state spaces. [PDF]
This paper presents an alternative method for the stochastic simulation of nonlinear and possibly non-differentiable models with large state spaces. We compare our method to other existing methods, and show that the accuracy is satisfactory.
