Akkermansia muciniphila enhances chicken resistance to infectious bronchitis virus by boosting GABA synthesis and suppressing the NF‐κB inflammatory pathway

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) represents a major threat to poultry production, with current control strategies offering limited protection. In this study, we demonstrate gut microbiome is a critical determinant of IBV resistance using fecal microbiota transplantation.

The Leidenfrost phenomenon helps in reducing nanoparticle agglomeration in aerosol‐assisted plasma deposition of nanocomposite thin films. Conversely, the plasma sheath could act as an electrostatic filter preventing the smallest droplets from reaching the substrate.

Exchangeable lead (Pb) in lowland paddy soils of Sri Lanka as affected by the differences in agro‐climatic zones, soil orders, and water sources

Lead (Pb) accumulation in the human body poses serious health risks. As rice is the staple food in Sri Lanka, with a high per capita intake (114 kg), there is a significant risk of Pb transfer through rice consumption. This study evaluated exchangeable Pb concentrations in soils and produced Pb distribution maps.

Liquid Phase TEM of Diffusing Emulsion Droplets

Motion of emulsion droplets was observed via in situ liquid phase transmission electron microscopy. Analysis revealed that the motion is self‐affine and influenced by multiple stochastic processes, as well as a fractal landscape created by the electron beam.
