Mars atmospheric dynamics are crucial for understanding its climate and weather patterns, especially over plateaus. Previous studies have explored localized atmospheric heating mechanisms over Mars plateaus only to a little extent.

Deep learning serves traffic safety analysis: A forward‐looking review
Abstract This paper explores deep learning (DL) methods that are used or have the potential to be used for traffic video analysis, emphasising driving safety for both autonomous vehicles and human‐operated vehicles. A typical processing pipeline is presented, which can be used to understand and interpret traffic videos by extracting operational safety ...

Species‐specific diatom dynamics shape their vertical distribution and export during bloom decline
Abstract The Southern Ocean is a critical region for global biogeochemical cycles, particularly for carbon dioxide uptake and organic carbon export, partly driven by extensive phytoplankton blooms. In naturally iron‐fertilized regions of this otherwise iron‐limited ocean, these blooms are primarily driven by diatoms. Variability in bloom occurrences on

Forecasting climate and human alterations to coastal and estuarine dissolved organic matter
Abstract River networks serve as conduits for dissolved organic matter (DOM) and carbon (DOC) from inland to coastal waters. Human activities and climate change are altering DOM sources, causing hydrological and biogeochemical shifts that impact DOC concentrations and changing the transport and transformation of DOM and DOC. Here, we synthesize current

Exploring Self‐Repair Capabilities of ATSP Vitrimers for Crack Mitigation in Aerospace Applications
The self‐healing property of ATSP vitrimer is demonstrated via micro‐scratch repair. This is enabled by interchain transesterification reactions, a type of covalent bond exchange inherent to ester‐crosslinked polymers and facilitated by high branching of chains.

Results of current Mars studies at the IAU Planetary Research Center [PDF]
Ground based images obtained hourly by seven observatories are used to study Martian phenomena. Maps of global dust storms show the degree of activity of the storm depends both on the region and on the time of day.

In Situ Gels for Nasal Delivery: Formulation, Characterization and Applications
Drug delivery through the nasal route offers many advantages, but is hampered by a number of challenges, such as the short drug retention time caused by mucociliary clearance. In situ forming gels, which undergo a sol‐to‐gel transition with specific triggers at the site of action, present real opportunities in this field.
