Development of new compositions for dust control in the mining and mineral transportation industry
Dust control in summer and winter periods is a topical problem associated with conducting open pit mining operations; however, at negative temperatures the additional requirements are imposed on dust suppressants. Preventive compositions are proposed, in

Evaluation index of wind resistance performance of dust suppressant and its application
This study proposes three evaluation indexes for evaluating the wind resistance of mine dust inhibitors, namely average loss rate per unit mass (ALRPUM) of dust suppressant, average suppression rate per unit mass (ASRPUM) of dust suppressant, and ...

Study on performance of environment-friendly double network hydrogel dust suppressant
Based on the problem of coal dust pollution in the open-air coal stocking yard, the hydrogel with interpenetrating double network structure (PVA-XG-AA) was prepared by using the hydrogen bonding between polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), xanthan gum (XG) and ...

Determination and Evaluation of Alternative Methods for Managing and Controlling Highway-Related Dust Phase II—Demonstration Project: TR-506, June 2005 [PDF]
The State of Iowa currently has approximately 69,000 miles of unpaved secondary roads. Due to the low traffic count on these unpaved frontage two dusted roads, paving with asphalt or Portland cement concrete is not economical.

ABSTRACT Asthma affects 260–300 million people worldwide. About 20%–35% of patients use medicinal plants with their asthma medication, often without telling their clinicians. Disclosure rates are low; up to 42% of asthma outpatients use herbal products, with no records in their charts.

Preparation and performance study of dust suppressant based on D-optimal design method
To effectively control the coal dust generated in the coal production process, taking the respirable coal dust of Yushuling Coal Mine as the research object, the D-optimal design method was used to establish the regression model between the ratio of the ...
