A Review of Evaluations of Bicycle Safety Education as a Countermeasure for Child Cyclist Injury
Children should be encouraged to cycle for its health and psychological benefits and because of the value of forming healthy habits early in life. Children who cycle are more likely to become adults who cycle, and cycling has clear health benefits, even ...

Enhanced Dynamic Duty Cycle in LoRaWAN Network [PDF]
LoRa’s long-range and low-power features have made it an attractive candidate for IoT devices in various fields. In this work, we present an enhanced LoRaWAN protocol. LoRaWAN MAC protocol is characterized by the restrictive use of the channel, limited by the regulatory authorities to a 1% duty cycle per cycle (i.e., 36 s per hour) per node.

Electronically-switched Directional Antennas for Low-power Wireless Networks: A Prototype-driven Evaluation [PDF]
We study the benefits of electronically-switched directional antennas in low-power wireless networks. This antenna technology may improve energy efficiency by increasing the communication range and by alleviating contention in directions other than the ...

DLL Design with Wide Input Duty Cycle Range and Low Output Clock Duty Cycle Error
This paper presents the design of a Delay-Locked Loop (DLL) with a simple architecture and a wide input clock duty cycle range. The design is tailored to meet the increasing data rate and stringent clock requirements of modern semiconductor chips, with particular applicability to dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) systems.
