The geometric phase and the geometrodynamics of relativistic electron vortex beams
We have studied here the geometrodynamics of relativistic electron vortex beams from the perspective of the geometric phase associated with the scalar electron encircling the vortex line.

Unusual spin and angular momentum of Dyakonov waves at the hyperbolic-material surface
Three Dyakonov-like polaritons (DLPs) exist at the interface between a hyperbolic material (HM) and a covering medium (CM). Each DLP is a hybridized-polarization surface polariton composed of two evanescent waves on both sides of the interface. We investigated their spin and angular momentum.

The exciton g‐factor dependence on band gap energy for bulk lead halide perovskites with different band gap is measured. The exciton g‐factors are found to be nearly constant, ranging from +2.3 to +2.7. The exciton g‐factor is nearly isotropic. The experimental data are compared favorably with model calculation results.

We studied magnetic field dependent microwave absorption in epitaxial La$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_{3}$ films using an X-band Bruker ESR spectrometer. By analyzing angular and temperature dependence of the ferromagnetic and spin-wave resonances we determine ...

A 2D electron gas (2DEG) is formed in the heterostructure of the topological crystalline insulator Pb0.24Sn0.76Te and graphene due to avoidance of the polar catastrophe. The spintronic properties of this heterostructure with non‐local spin valve devices are studied, demonstrating high spin lifetimes (≈2.18 ns) and a spintronic quantum phase transition ...

On Dyakonov–Voigt surface waves guided by the planar interface of dissipative materials
Dyakonov-Voigt (DV) surface waves guided by the planar interface of (i) material $A$ which is a uniaxial dielectric material specified by a relative permittivity dyadic with eigenvalues $ ^s_A$ and $ ^t_A$, and (ii) material $B$ which is an isotropic dielectric material with relative permittivity $ _B$, were numerically investigated by solving the ...

Field-tunable Dyakonov surface magnon polaritons in antiferromagnets
Magnetically ordering media support spin waves or magnons, which can couple with electromagnetic waves to form magnon polaritons. Based on insulating antiferromagnets, magnon polaritons are situated in the far-infrared or THz frequency range.
