Stretchable, Wearable Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cells
Advanced Materials, 2014A stretchable, wearable dye-sensitized solar-cell textile is developed from elastic, electrically conducting fiber as a counter electrode and spring-like titanium wire as the working electrode. Dyesensitized solar cells are demonstrated with energy-conversion efficiencies up to 7.13%. The high energy-conversion efficiencies can be well maintained under

Dye‐Sensitized Back‐Contact Solar Cells
Advanced Materials, 2010sensitized solar cells (DSCs), [ 2 ] are based on low-cost materials and can be fabricated by means of simple printing techniques. Two transparent fl uorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) coated glass substrates are conventionally used as collecting electrodes to extract photogenerated charge carriers from the dye-sensitized junction.

Solvatochromic Dye Sensitized Nanocrystalline Solar Cells
Nano Letters, 2002The coordination compound TBA(4)[Ru(CN)(4)(dcb)], where TBA is tetrabutylammonium and dcb is 4,4'-(CO2-)(2)-2,2'-bipyridine, was synthesized and attached to optically transparent nanocrystalline (anatase) TiO2 films, abbreviated [Ru(CN)(4)(dcb)]/TiO2.

Peptide-templating dye-sensitized solar cells
Nanotechnology, 2010A hollow TiO(2) nanoribbon network electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) was fabricated by a biotemplating process combining peptide self-assembly and atomic layer deposition (ALD). An aromatic peptide of diphenylalanine was assembled into a three-dimensional network consisting of highly entangled nanoribbons.

Highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cells
SPIE Proceedings, 2009ABSTRACTThe present paper discusses the principle of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) in terms of equivalent circuit model and the key issues to improve the device efficiency. Equivalent circuit model is proposed following analysis by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy of the voltage dependence of the internal resistance elements of DSCs.
