Dynamic Ic and Dynamic Programming [PDF]
This paper develops a dynamic programming method when the one-stage deviation principle in the sense of mechanism design literature doesn’t hold. The commonly used dynamic programming method is valid only if the one-stage deviation principle in the sense of mechanism design literature is satisfied; it doesn't hold in every model, and the one-stage ...

Design of a Novel Medical Acoustic Sensor Based on MEMS Bionic Fish Ear Structure
High-performance medical acoustic sensors are essential in medical equipment and diagnosis. Commercially available medical acoustic sensors are capacitive and piezoelectric types. When they are used to detect heart sound signals, there is attenuation and

Individual dynamics in dynamic groups
Abstract Groups are inherently dynamic social entities whose function, adaptation, and outcomes are fundamentally driven by continuous changes in individual membership and affiliation patterns. Existing analytical frameworks often treat the group as the primary unit of analysis, overlooking the complexity of individual trajectories ...

Design and Realization of MEMS Heart Sound Sensor with Concave, Racket-Shaped Cilium
The biomedical acoustic signal plays an important role in clinical non-invasive diagnosis. In view of the deficiencies in early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, acoustic properties of S1 and S2 heart sounds are utilized. In this paper, we propose an

Dynamical affinity in opinion dynamics modeling [PDF]
We here propose a model to simulate the process of opinion formation, which accounts for the mutual affinity between interacting agents. Opinion and affinity evolve self-consistently, manifesting a highly non trivial interplay. A continuous transition is found between single and multiple opinion states.

Quantifying Dynamical Coherence with Dynamical Entanglement [PDF]
Coherent superposition and entanglement are two fundamental aspects of non-classicality. Here we provide a quantitative connection between the two on the level of operations by showing that the dynamical coherence of an operation upper bounds the dynamical entanglement that can be generated from it with the help of additional incoherent operations.

Dynamics of Learning and Learning of Dynamics
This dissertation investigates the reciprocal benefits between machine learning and dynamical systems with the focus on generative models from machine learning and the Lyapunov theory of stability from dynamical systems. In the first direction, the established theory of control and dynamical systems is used to study the dynamic behavior of learning ...

Simulation and Experimental Study on Characteristics of Multiorifice Nozzle in Radial Jet Drilling
The radial jet drilling (RJD) is a key technology to improve the development efficiency of low-permeability oil and gas resources. In order to seek a reasonable hydraulic engineering parameter combination of hydraulic radial jet drilling, to obtain the ...
