Dynamics of Change and Change in Dynamics
A framework is presented for building and testing models of dynamic regulation by categorizing sources of differences between theories of dynamics. A distinction is made between the dynamics of change, i.e., how a system self-regulates on a short time scale, and change in dynamics, i.e., how those dynamics may themselves change over a longer time scale.

Internet connectivity is changing: Autonomous Systems (ASes) can now reach hundreds of networks directly through interconnections at Internet eXchange Points (IXPs) while reducing latency and improving traffic delivery performance and competitiveness. Despite the benefits, any pair of ASes needs first to agree on exchanging traffic. The current process

Dynamic Ic and Dynamic Programming [PDF]
This paper develops a dynamic programming method when the one-stage deviation principle in the sense of mechanism design literature doesn’t hold. The commonly used dynamic programming method is valid only if the one-stage deviation principle in the sense of mechanism design literature is satisfied; it doesn't hold in every model, and the one-stage ...
