Dynamics of Banks' Capital Accumulation

Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, 2014
We construct a dynamic neoclassical model of banking capital where the dynamics are governed by the process of financial capital accumulation and credit risk realizations in a structure where stylized banking characteristics are maintained. This is aimed at focusing on how the profit‐maximizing capital ratio of banks evolves and how it reacts to ...

Polysaccharide accumulation dynamics in Iris pseudacorus

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2006
It was established by studying carbohydrates of Iris pseudacorus during vegetative periods that the content of water-soluble polysaccharides in the rhizomes and roots is greatest during seed ripening; of pectinic substances, during budding. Glycomannan was isolated from seeds.

Dynamic efficiency and capital accumulation

European Journal of Political Economy, 1992
Abstract This paper answers the question of dynamic efficiency in the framework of the well-known Diamond model, additionally allowing for arbitrary population dynamics and a changing production technology. Arbitrary equilibrium paths, not only steady-states, can be characterized with respect to their efficiency.

Dynamics of mine hydro-pneumatic accumulator

Journal of Mining Science, 2013
The authors have studied theoretically and experimentally dynamics of mine hydro-pneumatic accumulators and give grounds for a hydro-pneumatic accumulator design meant for the stable and elevated pressure maintenance in an underground compressed air network as compared to a compressed-air plant.

Postcolonial Dynamics of Accumulation

2017
This chapter engages with the question of postcolonial accumulation through an interrogation of several phenomena featuring the neoliberal milieu today, such as the new dynamics of capital accumulation based on a combination of the most virtual forms and the primitive, the extractive turn of economy, the redrawing of the space of capital through new ...

Macronutrient accumulation dynamics in apple fruits

Journal of Plant Nutrition, 2017
In this study, we assessed the macronutrient levels of apple fruits cv. “Golden Smoothee” by monitoring their fruit absorption rates (mg fruit−1 day−1) and accumulation patterns (mg fruit−1...

Dynamics of fluid accumulation in intestinal segments

Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1982
Abstract Intestinal obstruction occurring in human diseases or produced surgically in animal studies can produce fluid accumulation and intestinal distention. It was found that a quantitative theory for acute intestinal fluid accumulation could be derived and verified for a variety of experimental model systems.

Deterministic models of accumulation conveyor dynamics

International Journal of Production Research, 1981
Abstract This paper presents equations for determining the bounds on maximum throughput capacity, the length of conveyor required for accumulation, and the time for a queue to dissipate after blocking the flow on a live roller and on a zero pressure accumulation conveyor.

On the dynamics of health capital accumulation

Social Science & Medicine, 2006
This paper presents a key model from the economics literature that has been adjusted and reinterpreted as a simple, formal, quantitative tool for formalising the inputs and outputs involved in personal health regimes undertaken to accumulate Grossman's health capital. Implications of the model fit with commonsensical clinical results.
