System of fractional differential equations with Erdélyi-Kober fractional integral conditions

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2015
In this paper we study existence and uniqueness of solutions for a system consisting from fractional differential equations of Riemann-Liouville type subject to nonlocal Erdélyi-Kober fractional integral conditions.

Fractional Integral Inequalities via Hadamard’s Fractional Integral

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
We establish new fractional integral inequalities, via Hadamard’s fractional integral. Several new integral inequalities are obtained, including a Grüss type Hadamard fractional integral inequality, by using Young and weighted AM-GM inequalities.

Back analysis of dynamic parameters of high earth-rock dam materials under weak earthquakes

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2020
In the case of weak earthquakes, a back analysis model considering interaction and radiation damping effects is proposed for dynamic parameters of earth-rock dams.

State-space independent component analysis for nonlinear dynamic process monitoring [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The cost effective benefits of process monitoring will never be over emphasised. Amongst monitoring techniques, the Independent Component Analysis (ICA) is an efficient tool to reveal hidden factors from process measurements, which follow non-Gaussian

Boundary Value Problems for Fractional Differential Equations with Fractional Multiterm Integral Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We discuss the existence and uniqueness of solutions for boundary value problems involving multiterm fractional integral boundary conditions. Our study relies on standard fixed point theorems. Illustrative examples are also presented.

Nonlinear Drillstring Dynamics Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems, 2009
This paper studies the dynamical response of a rotary drilling system with a drag bit, using a lumped parameter model that takes into consideration the axial and torsional vibration modes of the bit. These vibrations are coupled through a bit-rock interaction law.

Multimodal Language Analysis in the Wild: CMU-MOSEI Dataset and Interpretable Dynamic Fusion Graph

open access: yesAnnual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics, 2018
Analyzing human multimodal language is an emerging area of research in NLP. Intrinsically this language is multimodal (heterogeneous), sequential and asynchronous; it consists of the language (words), visual (expressions) and acoustic (paralinguistic ...

Henry-Gronwall Integral Inequalities with “Maxima” and Their Applications to Fractional Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Some new weakly singular Henry-Gronwall type integral inequalities with “maxima” are established in this paper. Applications to Caputo fractional differential equations with “maxima” are also presented.

Dynamic Object Flow Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The behavior of an object-oriented software system is notoriously hard to understand from the source code alone. The main reason is the large gap between the program's static structure and its actual runtime behavior.

Perturbative analysis of dynamical localization [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2003
In this paper we present a mathematical investigation of the phenomenon of dynamical localization in a class of quasi-periodically and periodically time-dependent two-level systems. Our results are based on a sort of “renormalization” procedure, which is developed here in a systematic way in order to adapt it to the case of dynamical localization.
