Possible role of human ribonuclease dicer in the regulation of R loops

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
R loops play an important role in regulating key cellular processes such as replication, transcription, centromere stabilization, or control of telomere length. However, the unscheduled accumulation of R loops can cause many diseases, including cancer, and neurodegenerative or inflammatory disorders. Interestingly, accumulating data indicate a possible

Stochastic Models Of Dynamic Balance State For The Morphological Patterns Of Cryolithozone Landscapes

open access: yesGeography, Environment, Sustainability, 2019
The paper deals with mathematical modeling of a morphological pattern for a broad spectrum of cryolithozone landscapes in a state of a dynamic balance.

Auxiliary-Loss-Free Load Balancing Strategy for Mixture-of-Experts [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
For Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models, an unbalanced expert load will lead to routing collapse or increased computational overhead. Existing methods commonly employ an auxiliary loss to encourage load balance, but a large auxiliary loss will introduce non-negligible interference gradients into training and thus impair the model performance.

Cascade Network Stability of Synchronized Traffic Load Balancing with Heterogeneous Energy Efficiency Policies [PDF]

open access: yes
Cascade stability of load balancing is critical for ensuring high efficiency service delivery and preventing undesirable handovers. In energy efficient networks that employ diverse sleep mode operations, handing over traffic to neighbouring cells' expanded coverage must be done with minimal side effects.

Visual display and alarm system for wind tunnel static and dynamic loads [PDF]

open access: yes
A wind tunnel balance monitor and alarm system developed at NASA Ames Research Center will produce several beneficial results. The costs of wind tunnel delays because of inadvertent balance damage and the costs of balance repair or replacement can be ...

PENGUKURAN KOEFISIEN AERODINAMIS MODEL-MODEL JEMBATAN BENTANG PANJANG [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The objective of this research is to measure aerodynamic coefficients of long-span bridge deck models. Four models with different wind nose (fairings) will be tested using open loop wind tunnel.

Co‐expression of HSV‐1 ICP34.5 enhances the expression of gene delivered by self‐amplifying RNA and mitigates its immunogenicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ICP34.5 is one of the most important antihost response proteins. The saRNA‐encoding HSV‐1 neurovirulence protein ICP34.5 clearly mediated the eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha subunit (eIF2α) dephosphorylation and significant suppression of innate immune responses in vitro, leading to enhanced expression of the saRNA‐encoded gene.
