Exchange Rate Risk and Deviations From Purchasing Power Parity
ABSTRACT This paper proposes a new solution to the purchasing power parity (PPP) puzzles, arguing that investors' higher‐order risk attitudes, combined with higher‐order uncertainty about nominal exchange rates, as reflected by skewness and kurtosis, drive a risk premium that leads to deviations from PPP.

Regional Load Balancing Circuitous Bandwidth Allocation Method Based on Dynamic Auction Mechanism
Aiming at the problem of link congestion caused by the shortage of network bandwidth resources at the user end, this paper first proposes a regional load balancing idea. Then, for the problem of bandwidth resource allocation in regional load balancing, a

Manipulation Test for Multidimensional RDD
ABSTRACT The causal inference model for the regression discontinuity design (RDD) relies on assumptions that imply the continuity of the density of the assignment (running) variable. The test for this implication is commonly referred to as the manipulation test and is regularly reported in applied research to strengthen the design's validity.

Complexity of the Directed Robust b‐Matching Problem and Its Variants on Different Graph Classes
ABSTRACT The b$$ b $$‐matching problem is a well‐known generalization of the classical matching problem with various applications in operations research and computer science. Given an undirected graph, each vertex v$$ v $$ has a capacity bv$$ {b}_v $$, indicating the maximum number of times it can be matched, while edges can also be used multiple times.

Hybrid Encoder for Discrete and Continuous Variable QKD
This work demonstrates a hybrid QKD encoder that bridges the advantages of discrete and continuous variables. Utilizing a self‐compensating iPOGNAC design, the encoder is compatible with space‐based and terrestrial quantum networks. The approach simplifies system complexity, improves stability, and ensures cost‐effective integration, paving the way for
