Intelligent resource allocation in internet of things using random forest and clustering techniques
The Internet of Things has proliferated, and the number of devices integrated into intelligent networks has made resource management and allocation one of the most critical challenges. The intrinsic constraints of IoT devices, such as energy consumption,

ABSTRACT We introduce RNA‐DNA fusomers, a new class of chemically synthesized oligonucleotides that combine the versatile properties of RNA and DNA within a single sequence and self‐assemble into higher‐order functional structures via a simple one‐pot annealing reaction.

A Test of the Coase Conjecture Using Prices of Electronic Books
ABSTRACT The Coase Conjecture predicts that a durable‐goods monopolist without commitment will rapidly cut price toward marginal cost. We test this prediction in the electronic‐book market using release‐day prices. To proxy for marginal cost, we use competitive prices of public‐domain electronic books on the same platforms.

Information Dynamics and Learning in Complex Adaptive Systems: Toward a Transdisciplinary Framework
ABSTRACT This article develops a framework for understanding learning and adaptation in complex adaptive systems. Drawing from neuroscience, systems theory, information theory and quantum field theory, it examines how information processing, plasticity and systemic coherence emerge from distributed, nonlinear and feedback‐driven interactions. It argues

Bath Vibration During Open Eye Formation in a Physical Model of a Steelmaking Ladle
Using a physical model, this study shows that vibration measurements reliably predict open eye size in steelmaking ladles, offering a practical alternative to visual monitoring. Vessel vibrations stabilize faster than the open eye, except at high frequencies near the bottom.

WDM dynamic bandwidth allocation schemes for ethernet PONs
WDM based dynamic bandwidth allocation schemes are proposed as potential future-proof upgrade solutions for access PON systems. The schemes represent cost-efficient ways to exploit the virtually unlimited bandwidth afforded by passive optical ...

Tailoring Model‐Based Systems Engineering for Sub‐100 g PlanarSats: A Power‐First View Stack
ABSTRACT This paper addresses how to apply model‐based systems engineering (MBSE) to ultrasmall planar satellites under severe power and resource constraints. PlanarSats are sub‐100‐gram spacecraft built as single printed‐circuit boards where the same surface must host both electronics and solar cells, so power generation, geometry, and component ...
