Dynamical Actuators for the Heat Equation
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1989Abstract We consider the transient heat equation in the moving domain D\B(t) with Dirichlet boundary conditions. B(t) modellizes a moving actuator on the boundary of which temperature is kept constant. We give necessary conditions for optimal trajectories following a Dynamic Programming approach.

Equations of the Randomizer’s Dynamics
2009Basing on the Newton–Euler laws of mechanics we derive the equations which describe the dynamics of the coin toss, the die throw, and roulette run. The equations for full 3D models and for lower dimensional simplifications are given. The influence of the air resistance and energy dissipation at the impacts is described. The obtained equations allow for

Perturbations of Dynamic Equations
Journal of Difference Equations and Applications, 2002We give conditions on the coefficient matrix for certain perturbed linear dynamic equations on time scales ensuring that there exists a bounded solution (which is explicitly given) to which all other solutions converge, and similarly conditions ensuring a bounded solution from which all other solutions diverge. We also consider periodic time scales and

Oscillation of an Euler-Cauchy dynamic equation
, 2003The Euler-Cauchy differential equation and difference equation are well known. Here we study a more general Euler-Cauchy dynamic equation. For this more general equation when we have complex roots of the corresponding characteristic equation we for ...

Comparison of some single‐step methods for the numerical solution of the structural dynamic equation
, 1985This paper compares the performance of the SS22 and SS23 (References 1 and 2) single step algorithms for the numerical solution of the second-order structural dynamic equation and a related new algorithm SS32B applied to the equivalent first-order system,

A ferromagnetic dynamical equation
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1958Abstract Based on general considerations concerning the dissipative mechanism, a ferromagnetic dynamical equation is proposed. This equation contains three parameters, which have definite quantum-mechanical significance. A simple theory for one such parameter is given, and an explicit rotational dynamical equation is obtained in the special case in ...

On the transformations of the dynamical equations
Regular and Chaotic Dynamics, 2009In this issue we bring to the reader’s attention a translation of Levi-Civita’s work “Sulle trasformazioni delle equazioni dinamiche”. This paper, written by Levi-Civita at the onset of his career, is remarkable in many respects. Both the main result and the method developed in the paper brought the author in line with the greatest mathematicians of ...

Dynamics of the difference equation
Journal of Difference Equations and Applications, 2006We investigate the global stability, the period character and the boundedness nature of the solutions of the difference equation where the nonnegative parameters satisfy certain conditions and the initial conditions are nonnegative real numbers. We show that the solutions of the equation exhibit a period-two trichotomy character which depends upon ...

The general dynamic equation for aerosols
, 1979This work focusses on developing and solving the conservation equations for a spatially homogeneous aerosol. We begin by developing the basic equations, and in doing so, a new form of the conservation equation or General Dynamic Equation (GDE), termed
