Data glove-based gesture recognition using CNN-BiLSTM model with attention mechanism.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2023
As a novel form of human machine interaction (HMI), hand gesture recognition (HGR) has garnered extensive attention and research. The majority of HGR studies are based on visual systems, inevitably encountering challenges such as depth and occlusion.

RECOGNITION OF DYNAMIC LITHUANIAN LANGUAGE GESTURES

open access: yesMokslas - Lietuvos ateitis, 2023
This paper proposes a method for automated Lithuanian hands gestures data collection and for Lithuanian hands gestures classification. The dataset of 1100 samples was collected for 10 different classes of Lithuanian hands gesture. The features of hands gestures were extracted with CNN network. The classification was made with LSTM network.

Micro-motion Hand Gesture Recognition Method Based on Improved Multiple Dimensional Convolution Neural Network [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
For the traditional Two Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network(2D-CNN),the time dimension information is lost, and thus the dynamic gesture cannot be recognized. This paper proposes a novel dynamic hand gesture recognition method based on video streams ...

Deep Learning Based Real-Time Recognition of Dynamic Finger Gestures Using a Data Glove

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this article, a real-time dynamic finger gesture recognition using a soft sensor embedded data glove is presented, which measures the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) and proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint angles of five fingers. In the gesture recognition

Personalized Dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition

open access: yes, 2018
