Digitizing the Filtration Interface: A Smart, Modular Janus Wood Platform for Self‐Reporting Oil/Water Remediation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work developed a smart Janus wood membrane integrating asymmetric wettability with built‐in electrical sensing for oil‐water separation. The membrane achieved > 99.5% separation efficiency and high flux by leveraging wood's natural anisotropic pore structure.

Unemployment, hysteresis and transition [PDF]

open access: yes
We quantify the degree of persistence in unemployment rates of transition countries using a variety of methods benchmarked against the EU. In part of the paper, we work with the concept of linear "Hysteresis" as described by the presence of unit roots in

Dynamic Coupling Hysteresis Model for Giant Magnetostrictive Materials

open access: yes, 2011
The giant magnetostrictive material (GMM) in dynamic magnetic field has nonlinear and hysteretic characters. Based on the nonlinear constitutive model of the material, the quasi-static hysteresis model with magneto-elastic coupling was built on the Jiles-

MXene Wrapped Magnetic Mesocrystals for Durable Redox Catalytic Cancer Therapy and Responsive MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conformal wrapping of ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets on Fe3O4 mesocrystals creates topology‐stabilized Schottky junctions that direct photoinduced electron transfer under NIR irradiation. The unique architecture sustains Fenton catalysis, promotes continuous hydroxyl radical production, and provides photo‐responsive MRI contrast.

Bouc-Wen Model and Parametric Research for Dynamic Analysis of Gravel Material

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2017
:Due to the capability of reproducing complex nonlinear characteristics of cyclic behavior, the Bouc-Wen smooth hysteresis model was widely used in the seismic analysis of soil.In order to study the complex dynamic characteristics of gravel material,i.e ...

Designing Stable Periodic Magnetization Textures by Tailoring Anisotropies and Applying Geometrical Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the possibility to design stable periodic magnetization textures by transforming a 2D film into a rolled‐up 3D architecture and back. In case of an isotropic exchange‐biased layer architecture, the magnetization encoded in the 3D state evolves into a spin‐spiral pattern with controlled periodicity after unrolling.

Anisotropy of losses in non-segmented assemblies of grain-oriented steel with circular easy axis distribution

open access: yesAIP Advances
This study explores the frequency-dependent magnetic losses in grain-oriented non-segmented cores with layers shifted by a constant angle, creating a circular distribution of easy axes across the core, up to 500 Hz.

Electrocapillary Modulated Interfacial Tension Amplifies Liquid Metal Transduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presented an electrocapillary‐enhanced magnetohydrodynamic pumping strategy that harnesses the Lorentz force and interfacial tension modulation of liquid metal droplets to achieve amplified fluidic power. The system enabled low‐voltage, self‐oscillating fluidic transduction with enhanced pressure and flow generation, supporting compact ...

Unemployment hysteresis, structural changes, non-linearities and fractional integration in European transition economies

open access: yes
In this paper we aim to analyse the dynamics of unemployment in a group of Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs). The CEECs are of special importance for the future of the European Union, given that most of them have recently become member ...
