We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

In Situ Test Study of Characteristics of Coal Mining Dynamic Load
Combination of coal mining dynamic load and high static stress can easily induce such dynamic disasters as rock burst, coal and gas outburst, roof fall, and water inrush. In order to obtain the characteristic parameters of mining dynamic load and dynamic

Fault location in power distribution systems considering a dynamic load model
In the electrical power systems, load is one of the most difficult elements to be represented by an adequate mathematical model due to its complex composition and dynamic and non-deterministic behavior.

DYNAMIC OF PRESSURE-DEFORMATION CURVE IN UNIAXIAL COMPRESSION TEST IN DIFFERENT LOAD TIMES [PDF]
: The loading application time by machinery tires and agricultural tires is one of the factors of soil compaction. We evaluated the effect of loading reduction time in uniaxial compression test, in laboratory, in some physical and mechanical parameters ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Study on the Impact Coefficient of Tied Arch Bridge Shock Effect Based on Vehicle-Bridge Coupling
In order to study the impact on the shock effect when a high-speed train passes over a concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) tied-arch bridge, a dynamic load test was carried out in the background of the Qinjiang River Bridge in Qinzhou, Guangxi Province, to

Performance of bolted steel-beam to CFST-column joints using stiffened angles in column-removal scenario [PDF]
This paper presents three experimental investigations on the performance of steel-beam to CFST-column joints using stiffened angle, long bolts and fin plate under a middle column removal scenario. Three specimens were designed and tested.
