Auditing Anti-Malware Tools by Evolving Android Malware and Dynamic Loading Technique
Although a previous paper shows that existing anti-malware tools (AMTs) may have high detection rate, the report is based on existing malware and thus it does not imply that AMTs can effectively deal with future malware.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Experimental study on dynamic characteristics of marine soil under multi-frequency loading
In order to explore the dynamic characteristics of marine soil and their dynamic influential factors, the laboratory dynamic triaxial tests are carried out on the undisturbed marine soil from an investigated site in Yellow Sea, China by using the GCTS ...

Dynamic wrinkling and strengthening of a filament in a viscous fluid [PDF]
We investigate the wrinkling dynamics of an elastic filament immersed in a viscous fluid submitted to compression at a finite rate with experiments and by combining geometric nonlinearities, elasticity, and slender body theory. The drag induces a dynamic

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Benchmark footbridge for vibration serviceability assessment under vertical component of pedestrian load [PDF]
Vibration serviceability criteria are governing the design and determining the cost of modern, slender footbridges. Efficient and reliable evaluation of dynamic performance of these structures usually requires a detailed insight into the structural ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Diurnal Asymmetric Loading Modulates Cell Phenotype in Intervertebral Disc
Purpose This study tested the hypothesis that asymmetric dynamic loading alone or in combination with static loading influences the morphological and biological characteristics of the intervertebral disc (IVD) cells in an ex vivo model.
