Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Use of Molecular Logic Gates for the Tuning of Chemosensor Dynamic Range

open access: yesMolecules
Dynamic range is a crucial aspect in the development of fluorescent chemosensors. We aimed to address this issue using molecular logic gates. By creating an AND logic gate with two binding sites for the same type of ion, we increased the dynamic range of

Deterministic dynamic logic is strictly weaker than dynamic logic

open access: yesInformation and Control, 1983
This paper answers affirmatively Meyer's question whether deterministic dynamic logic (DDL) is strictly weaker than dynamic logic (DL). A similar result has been obtained by \textit{P. Berman, J. Y. Halpern} and \textit{J. Tiuryn} [Automata, languages and programming, 9th Colloq., Aarhus/Den. 1982, Lect. Notes Comput. Sci.

Azobenzene's Cross‐Scale Optics and Photonics: Molecular Photoswitching, Mesoscopic Material Motions, and Adaptive Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Azobenzene photoswitches translate molecular‐scale E/Z photoisomerization into macroscopic material responses and device‐level photonic functions. This Review highlights how azobenzene research has evolved from molecular photochemistry to photoalignment, mass migration, photomechanics, and heat release, ultimately enabling holography, reconfigurable ...

Optimal Control Drives Ultrafast and Energy‐Efficient Magnetization Switching in Van der Waals Magnets

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The accelerating expansion of data‐centric technologies is sharply increasing the energy burden of information storage, placing unprecedented pressure on the efficiency of magnetic switching. Conventional field‐driven reversal, once the foundation of magnetic memory, has become impractical in modern architectures due to its high energy cost ...

Boolean Logic‐Based Control Over Recombinant Protein Biomaterial Degradability and Therapeutic Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Fully recombinant protein‐based biomaterials execute complex Boolean logic for user‐programmable material degradation and concomitant therapeutic cargo release. Biologics, such as growth factors, can be incorporated within the crosslinkers as “drugamers”, while encapsulated cells can be released according to nested YES/OR/AND‐type logical operations ...

On the Completeness of Dynamic Logic [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The impossibility of semantically complete deductive calculi for logics for imperative programs has led to the study of two alternative approaches to completeness: "local" semantic completeness on the one hand (Cook's relative completeness, Harel's Arithmetical completeness), and completeness with respect to other forms of reasoning about programs, on ...
