Microbiome−host proteostasis crosstalk—An emerging perspective on mechanisms and interventions toward healthy longevity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Proteostasis and the gut microbiota play a key role in shaping host physiology. Microbiota‐derived metabolites, vitamins, and RNA modulate host proteostasis. Findings from model systems, including C. elegans, indicate microbes can either stabilize or disrupt host proteostasis.

Application of Unsteady Fluid Flow Simulation in the Process of Regulating an Industrial Hydraulic Network

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In this article, an analytical solution to a hydraulic network with a wide range of pipe lengths (up to 10 km) is proposed. The Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method was applied with the aim of creating a regulation model for controlling both the ...

Path Tracking of Wheeled Mobile Robots Based on Dynamic Prediction Model

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In the field of path tracking control for wheeled mobile robots, researchers generally believe that the motion of robots meets non-holonomic constraints. However, the robot may sideslip by centrifugal force when it is steering.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Validating a dynamic population microsimulation model: Recent experience in Australia [PDF]

open access: yes
Available published research on microsimulation tends to focus on the results of policy simulations rather than upon validation of the models and their outputs.

Dynamic demand function on cobweb model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
[[abstract]]Time lag exists between inputs and outputs during the production process. Both producers' supply and consumers' demand at time t may be influenced by actual commodity trade price at time t-1.

Pregled modelov vrednotenja geodetskih kontrolnih meritev : Preview of Evalution Models of Geodetic Control Measurements [PDF]

open access: yesGeodetski Vestnik, 2006
In the contribution the classification of evaluation models of geodetic control measurements is given. Contemporary geodetic measurement systems offer possibilities to measure movements and deformations of object in all details. As such they give the ...

A Dynamic Model of Congestion

open access: yesBulletin of the Brazilian Mathematical Society, New Series
Abstract We revisit the classic problem of determining optimal routes in a graph for transporting two given distributions defined on its nodes, originally studied by Wardrop and Beckmann in the 1950s. The global congestion profile at any given time defines a dynamic metric on the graph, for which the routes must be geodesics.
