Floating offshore wind turbines (FOWTs) are crucial for harnessing deep-sea wind energy resources. However, existing studies on FOWTs have predominantly focused on standalone wind turbines, neglecting the wake effects from upstream turbines within the ...

Train–track–bridge dynamic interaction: a state-of-the-art review
Train–track–bridge dynamic interaction is a fundamental concern in the field of railway engineering, which plays an extremely important role in the optimal design of railway bridges, especially in high-speed railways and heavy-haul railways.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Comparative Analysis of Model-Based and Data-Driven Control for Tendon-Driven Robotic Fingers
The control of tendon-driven robotic fingers presents significant challenges due to their inherent underactuation, coupled with complex non-linear dynamics arising from tendon elasticity, friction, and external disturbances.

The concept of describing the process of self-thinning stands is considered from the standpoint of the general theory and methods of modeling the dynamics of biological populations and communities. Heterogeneity is one of the fundamental factors that determine the population dynamics of both the evolutionary time, and at the level of the lifetime of ...

Pharmacokinetic and -dynamic modelling of G-CSF derivatives in humans
BackgroundThe human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) is routinely applied to support recovery of granulopoiesis during the course of cytotoxic chemotherapies. However, optimal use of the drug is largely unknown.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
