Prognostic Impact of European LeukemiaNet Genetic Risk Stratification System in Adult Patients With Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic value of ELN2017 in predicting survival outcomes and to assess the impact of clinical and molecular factors such as age, FLT3 and NPM1 mutations, and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT).

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Dynamic modelling of reversible solid oxide cells for grid stabilization applications

Energy Conversion and Management, 2021
In this work, dynamic modelling of a system based on a reversible solid oxide cell (rSOC) is developed so that it can be integrated with the grid for power balancing.

Dynamic modelling and vibration characteristics analysis for the bolted joint with spigot in the rotor system

Applied Mathematical Modelling, 2021
The bolted flange joints with spigot (short for bolted joints) are widely used in the rotor system of aero-engine. The current models of the bolted joint usually ignore the spigot, therefore cannot account for the effect of spigot on joint's mechanical ...

New radial turbine dynamic modelling in a low-temperature adiabatic compressed air energy storage system discharging process

open access: yesEnergy Conversion and Management, 2017
It is challenging to gain insight of a Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) system dynamic behaviour under various operation conditions due to its complexity with mixed mechanical, thermal, chemical and electrical processes in one.

Dynamic modelling and experimental validation of scroll expander for small scale power generation system

open access: yesApplied Energy, 2017
This work presents a detailed and generic dynamic modelling and simulation method of scroll expander for small scale power generation system. The geometric models of the scroll were built step by step, including the scroll involute, scroll dimensions ...
