Dynamics in hospital recovery of psychotics
The Psychiatric Quarterly, 1961Some dynamisms that appear to be part of the effecting agency of individual psychotherapy are presented; these can be noted in the varied techniques of psychotherapy; they appear to be subject to validation by an acceptable scientific methodology.

Recovery of Purity in Dissipative Tunneling Dynamics
The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, 2020The time evolution of purity for an initially localized state of a symmetric two-level system coupled to a dissipative bath is investigated using numerically exact real-time path integral methods. With strong system-bath coupling and high temperature, the purity decays monotonically to its fully mixed value, with a short-time Gaussian behavior, which ...

Energy recovery clocked dynamic logic
Proceedings of the 15th ACM Great Lakes symposium on VLSI, 2005Energy recovery clocking results in significant energy savings in clock distribution networks as compared to conventional square-wave clocking. However, since energy recovery clocks are sinusoidal in nature, standard dynamic logic styles do not work efficiently when used with energy recovery clocks.

Dynamic recovery in nanocrystalline Ni
Acta Materialia, 2015The constant flow stress reached during uniaxial deformation of electrodeposited nanocrystalline Ni reflects a quasi-stationary balance between dislocation slip and grain boundary (GB) accommodation mechanisms. Stress reduction tests allow to suppress dislocation slip and bring recovery mechanisms into the foreground.

Dynamic recovery of polycrystalline silver
Materials Science and Engineering, 1987Abstract Mechanical and structural investigations were performed and the results obtained have been used for analysis of the phenomenon of dynamic recovery in polycrystalline silver. The investigations performed have proved that during plastic deformation of silver, dynamic recovery processes take place and their intensity depends on external ...

Recovery of hidden information through synaptic dynamics
Network: Computation in Neural Systems, 2002The role of synaptic dynamics in processing neural information is investigated in a neural information channel with realistic model neurons having chaotic intrinsic dynamics. Our neuron models are realized in simple analogue circuits, and our synaptic connections are realized both in analogue circuits and through a dynamic clamp program.

Fast recovery diodes - reverse recovery behaviour and dynamic avalanche
2004 24th International Conference on Microelectronics (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8716), 2004This paper deals with the dynamics of the internal charge carriers during the reverse recovery process of a fast power diode. For two conditions, simplified approximations are given for analytical investigation, and parameters for achieving soft recovery are derived. Finally, both conditions are investigated with regard to dynamic ruggedness.

Left ventricular dynamics during recovery from exercise
Journal of Applied Physiology, 1975Left ventricular dynamics during recovery were measured in dogs, 3 min after brief periods of mild, moderate, and severe treadmill exercise. As compared with resting values, stroke volume was unchanged, and the maximum first derivative of the left ventricular pressure was either unchanged or slightly elevated. Increases in heart rate of 20, 26, and 46
