Regime switching in the dynamic relationship between the federal funds rate and nonborrowed reserves [PDF]
This paper examines the dynamic relationship between changes in the funds rate and nonborrowed reserves within a reduced form framework that allows the relationship to have two distinct patterns over time. A regime switching model a la Hamilton (1989) is

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Zero Nominal Interest Rates, Unemployment, Excess Reserves and Deflation in a Liquidity Trap [PDF]
We present a dynamic and monetary model that consistently explains such various phenomena as unemployment, deflation, zero nominal interest rates and excess reserves held by commercial banks.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Research on dynamic optimization of grain reserves based on two-way options
How to optimize grain reserve management, reduce the cost of grain reserve, improve the efficiency of grain reserve and enhance the comprehensive strength of national grain reserve is a practical problem that the government and society pay close ...

Reliability of Dynamic Load Scheduling with Solar Forecast Scenarios
This paper presents and evaluates the performance of an optimal scheduling algorithm that selects the on/off combinations and timing of a finite set of dynamic electric loads on the basis of short term predictions of the power delivery from a ...

Dynamic and granular loss reserving with copulae
An intensive research sprang up for stochastic methods in insurance during the past years. To meet all future claims rising from policies, it is requisite to quantify the outstanding loss liabilities. Loss reserving methods based on aggregated data from run-off triangles are predominantly used to calculate the claims reserves.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
