Estimation of Coronary Reserve by Dynamic Electrocardiography

Human Physiology, 2004
A method of detection of coronary reserve (CR) for the effective estimation of the functional state of patients with coronary heart disease is discussed. To verify CR estimation by loading tests in subjects with pronounced signs of myocardial ischemia in the electrocardiogram, we examined the stationary heart rate (HR) level as a function of the ...

Dynamic Time Scheduling in Advance Bandwidth Reservation

2012 26th International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications Workshops, 2012
Dynamic circuit network (DCN) is one of the technologies in the Future Internet and it has been utilized in many world-wide test beds. DCN provides the on-demand virtual circuit (VC) service in which the user gives requirements, including the source, the destination, an amount of bandwidth, and the start and end times, to the DCN system through the Web

An efficient reservation-based dynamic channel assignment strategy

First International Conference on 3G Mobile Communication Technologies, 2000
The guard channel scheme for radio channel allocation in cellular networks gives resource access priority to handoff calls over new calls in admission control. This reduces handoff call blocking probability significantly at the expense of a small increase in new calls blocking probability.

Dynamic Allocation of Satellite Capacity Through Packet Reservation

Proceedings of the June 4-8, 1973, national computer conference and exposition on - AFIPS '73, 1973
If one projects the growth of computer communication networks like the ARPANET to a worldwide situation, satellite communication is attractive for intercommunicating between the widespread geographic areas. For this variable demand, multi-station, data traffic situation, satellites are uniquely qualified in that they are theoretically capable of ...

The dynamic packet reservation multiple access scheme

WCNC. 1999 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (Cat. No.99TH8466), 2003
The performance of the dynamic packet reservation multiple access (DPRMA) protocol for medium access control (MAC) is investigated in this work. This MAC protocol is designed for use in a wireless ATM system. A primary feature of DPRMA is the centralized controller, a base station in a cellular system, whose responsibility is to allocate resources on ...

Dynamic Assignment of Crew Reserve in Airlines

International Journal of Applied Metaheuristic Computing, 2011
The Crew Reserve Assignment Problem (CRAP) considers the assignment of the crew members to a set of reserve activities covering all the scheduled flights in order to ensure a continuous plan so that operations costs are minimized while its solution must meet hard constraints resulting from the safety regulations of Civil Aviation as well as from the ...

Dynamic pricing with automated purchase-reservation algorithms

Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management, 2020
We consider the problem of a firm that sells a perishable product such as airline tickets or hotel rooms with a dynamic pricing scheme in the presence of Internet bots. The bots automatically check for changes in the selling price every few seconds and hold the price for a short period by making a tentative reservation.

Dynamic Channel Reservation for Cognitive Radio Networks

2015 IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence & Communication Technology, 2015
In cognitive radio networks channel reservation has been a branch of deploying more efficient way to the utilization of spectrum. Because of the dominating status of primary users, secondary users have to make room for them when they come. Channel reservation is defined to reserve several fixed channels only for primary users, which will lead to less ...

Precise synchronous detectors with improved dynamic reserve

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2000
The current paper describes a special class of synchronous (phase-sensitive) detectors (SDs) for measurement purposes. They are precise and have high dynamic range. Proposed solutions are based on op-amps, having synchronously switched capacitors in the negative feedback path.
