Dynamics of propranolol dosing schedules
Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, 1983Kinetic and dynamic data from 27 healthy male subjects were evaluated in a double-blind, randomized, double-crossover study to test the hypothesis that 180 mg/day propranolol twice and three times a day would provide much the same plasma levels and beta 1-blockade. The data indicate that propranolol twice rather than three times a day should be favored

A Dynamically Reconfigurable Queue Scheduler
2006 International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Applications, 2006In this paper the authors present the design and implementation of a dynamically reconfigurable system for packet queue scheduling. Two widely accepted queue schedulers have been implemented in reconfigurable logic in a way that can be interchanged based on the number of active queues and the quality of service (QoS) requirements.

Dynamic scheduling of parallel applications
1995This paper is concerned with dynamic strategies for group scheduling. We present preemptive and non preemptive strategies which are suitable for scheduling parallel applications on large workstationclusters and investigate their performance behavior.

Eager scheduling with lazy retry for dynamic task scheduling
1996Task scheduling policies can be generally classified as eager scheduling and lazy scheduling. The former attempts to schedule the tasks whenever there are free processors available, while the latter delays the scheduling of some tasks so as to accommodate more appropriate tasks.

One of the problems of real-life production scheduling is dynamics of manufacturing environments with new production demands and breaking machines during the schedule execution. Simple rescheduling from scratch in response to unexpected events occurring on the shop floor may require excessive computation time.
