Abstract As people age, there is a natural decline in cognitive functioning and brain structure. However, the relationship between brain function and cognition in older adults is neither straightforward nor uniform. Instead, it is complex, influenced by multiple factors, and can vary considerably from one person to another.

Optimal timing to assess exercise‐induced oxidative stress: A systematic review and meta‐analysis
Abstract There is a lack of consensus on optimal timing to assess redox biomarkers post‐exercise, limiting methodological standardisation and linking oxidative stress to physiology. We determined optimal post‐exercise oxidative stress assessment times using three redox biomarkers: glutathione, F2‐isoprostanes and protein carbonyls.

Boundary Vector Cells Encode a Future‐Biased Spectrum of Positions in the Rat
ABSTRACT Spatial tuning is a hallmark property of neural firing in the hippocampal formation. Yet, that tuning is often less well correlated with the instantaneous current position of an animal than it is with an integrated version of the past or future state of the animal.

Mass Spectrometry Structural Proteomics Enabled by Limited Proteolysis and Cross‐Linking
ABSTRACT The exploration of protein structure and function stands at the forefront of life science and represents an ever‐expanding focus in the development of proteomics. As mass spectrometry (MS) offers readout of protein conformational changes at both the protein and peptide levels, MS‐based structural proteomics is making significant strides in the

Autonomy for MRI Field Cameras: Synchronization, Self‐Calibration, and Sequence Detection
ABSTRACT Purpose This work aims to provide a workflow for operating NMR field probes in MR scanners independently of pulse programming, scanner TTL trigger pulses and dedicated calibration sequences. Methods An independent timing system and limited prior knowledge about relative probe positions enable synchronous field measurement, probe position ...

Dynamic Multi-Phrase Ranked Search over Encrypted Data with Symmetric Searchable Encryption
IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, 2020As cloud computing becomes prevalent, more and more data owners are likely to outsource their data to a cloud server. However, to ensure privacy, the data should be encrypted before outsourcing. Symmetric searchable encryption allows users to retrieve keyword over encrypted data without decrypting the data.

UC-Secure Dynamic Searchable Symmetric Encryption Scheme
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2016In a dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (SSE) scheme, a client can add/modify/delete encrypted files. In this paper, we first prove a weak equivalence between the UC security and the stand alone security based on the previous work on static SSE schemes.
