Development of a Novel, All‐Aromatic High Tensile Modulus Liquid Crystalline Polyimide for Fused Filament Fabrication Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel, high tensile modulus, fully aromatic thermotropic liquid crystalline polyimide (LCPI) with better solvent resistance and thermal stability is synthesized. Tensile specimens are fabricated using both injection molding and FFF processes, accomplished via lower viscosity enabled by the LC phase.

Quality of Service Comparison of DSDV and DSR Routing Protocols for V2V Communication in VANET

open access: yesJITCE (Journal of Information Technology and Computer Engineering)
The study evaluates the Quality of Service (QoS) performance of the Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocols in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication within a Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) environment ...

Dynamic Source Routing in Ad Hoc Wireless Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
An ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any established infrastructure or centralized administration. In such an environment, it may be necessary for one mobile host to enlist the aid of other hosts in forwarding a packet to its destination, due to the limited range of each mobile host’s

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.

Analytic performance comparison of routing protocols in master-slave PLC networks [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
In the wide area master-slave PLC (powerline communication) system, the source node cannot reach the destination node without packet relay. Due to the time-variable attenuation in the powerline, the communication distance cannot be defined. Two kind of dynamic repeater algorithms are developed, dynamic source routing and flooding based routing. In this

Bioorthogonal Engineering of Cellular Microenvironments Using Isonitrile Ligations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Highly selective chemistries are required for fabrication and post‐cross–linking modification of cell‐encapsulating hydrogels used in tissue engineering applications. Isonitrile ligation reactions represent a promising class of bioorthogonal chemistries for engineering hydrogel‐based cellular microenvironments. Isonitrile‐based hydrogels are stable and

Hybrid Position-Based and DTN Forwarding for Vehicular Sensor Networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2012
Efficient data delivery in vehicular sensor networks is still a challenging research issue. Position-based routing protocols have been proven to be more suitable for dynamic vehicular networks or large-scale mobile sensor networks than traditional ad hoc
