ACRR: Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing with Controlled Route Requests [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computers, Information Technology and Engineering (IJCITAE), Vol. 1, No. 1, pp 9-15, June 2007, Serial Publications., 2010
Reactive routing protocols like Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR)in Ad-Hoc Wireless Networks which are used in Mobile and Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) work by flooding the network with control packets. There is generally a limit on the number of these packets that can be generated or forwarded. But a malicious

Game theoretic approach in routing protocols for wireless mobile ad hoc networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) are becoming popular as a means of providing communication among a group of people. Because of self-configuring and self-organizing characteristics, MANETs can be deployed quickly. There is no infrastructure defined in the

Self‐Poled Halide Perovskite Ruddlesden‐Popper Ferroelectric‐Photovoltaic Semiconductor Thin Films and Their Energy Harvesting Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐dimensional halide perovskite thin films, (BA)2(MA)n‐1PbnBr3n+1 (n = 1, 2), exhibit both semiconducting and ferroelectric properties, enabling mechanical and light energy harvesting. Using Cr/Cr₂O₃ or PCBM as barrier layers ensures reproducible ferroelectricity.

Sono‐Piezo‐Photosynthesis of Ethylene and Acetylene from Bioethanol under Ambient Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel sono‐piezo‐photocatalytic strategy enables the conversion of bioethanol to ethylene (C2H4) and acetylene (C2H2) under ambient conditions, addressing the limitations of conventional methods that are high‐temperature and energy‐intensive. By using an advanced graphene oxide/sodium bismuth titanate heterostructure catalyst, this work achieved ...

A new Dynamic Routing Approach for Software Defined Network [PDF]

open access: yes
Introduces a new dynamic routing approach tailored for Software Defined Network (SDN) that takes advantages of the programmability and centralized control inherent SDN architectures. Traditional routing protocols often struggles often to adapt to dynamic

H2O2‐Generating Advanced Nanomaterials for Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
H2O2‐generating nanoplatforms can exploit tumor redox imbalance for O2 and toxic reactive oxygen species generation, leading to hypoxia reversal, and apoptosis of cancer cells, respectively. This review highlights the mechanisms of these nanoplatforms, including exogenous H₂O₂ delivery, endogenous amplification, and metal peroxides, which leads to ...

Intraoral Drug Delivery: Bridging the Gap Between Academic Research and Industrial Innovations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intraoral drug delivery offers a promising route for systemic and localized therapies, yet challenges such as enzymatic degradation, limited permeability, and microbial interactions hinder efficacy. This figure highlights innovative strategies—mucoadhesive materials, enzyme inhibitors, and permeation enhancers—to overcome these barriers.

Coherent Route Cache In Dynamic Source Routing For Ad Hoc Networks

open access: yesComputer Science Journal of Moldova, 2011
Ad hoc network is a set of nodes that are able to move and can be connected in an arbitrary manner. Each node acts as a router and communicates using a multi-hop wireless links. Nodes within ad hoc networks need efficient dynamic routing protocols to facilitate communication.
