An EST-Based Automatic Route Shortening in Dynamic Source Routing Protocol
2011The area of ad hoc network has been receiving increasing attention among researchers in recent years. The dynamic routing protocol is its key technology. The Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) protocol is a widely discussed routing protocol for ad hoc network.

Ant Colony based Dynamic source routing for VANET
2016 2nd International Conference on Applied and Theoretical Computing and Communication Technology (iCATccT), 2016Vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) being an important application of communication and networking. Routing in VANET is difficult because it has a very dynamic behavior i.e. high mobility and different network topologies. Many topologies are developed for VANET, where they exhibit high beginning to end delay; throughput, delay jitter and also have low ...

Multiple sources and routes of information transmission: Implications for epidemic dynamics
Mathematical Biosciences, 2011In a recent paper, we proposed and analyzed a compartmental ODE-based model describing the dynamics of an infectious disease where the presence of the pathogen also triggers the diffusion of information about the disease. In this paper, we extend this previous work by presenting results based on pairwise and simulation models that are better suited for

Cluster Based Hierarchical Addressing for Dynamic Source Routing
2016A Wireless Ad-Hoc Network (WANET) is a group of wireless mobile nodes which are self creating, self organizing and self administering. In such networks, selection of routing protocols is an important concern as it affects the performance of ad-hoc networks in terms of average end-to-end delay, reduced packet processing etc.

Distributed cache updating for the dynamic source routing protocol
IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, 2006On-demand routing protocols use route caches to make routing decisions. Due to mobility, cached routes easily become stale. To address the cache staleness issue, prior work in DSR used heuristics with ad hoc parameters to predict the lifetime of a link or a route.
