Clustered Dynamic Source Routing Protocol
2007 International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Mobile Computing, 2007The paper proposes a clustered dynamic source routing (CDSR) protocol based on the hierarchical topological infrastructure in view of the lack of extension of flat unicast routing protocols in large-scale Ad Hoc networks. CDSR protocol adopts the advantages of on demand and source routing in DSR (dynamic source routing), and introduces enhanced ...

Trusted Dynamic Source Routing Protocol
2007 International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Mobile Computing, 2007In this paper, we design a novel secure routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), called trusted dynamic source routing (TDSR) which extends the widely used DSR routing protocol and employs the idea of trust network connect (TNC) to protect routing behaviors.

Secure dynamic source routing protocol
The Fourth International Conference onComputer and Information Technology, 2004. CIT '04., 2004Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are a collection of wireless hosts that can be rapidly deployed as a multi-hop packet radio network without the aid of any established infrastructure or centralized administration. The routing security is a critical problem for MANETs. However, existing protocols are not sufficient for security requirements.

Efficient-dynamic source routing (E-DSR)
2012 International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies (ISCIT), 2012A Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a self-configuring network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. The communication in ad hoc network is uncertain because established route could be broken anytime. The main two reasons for route breakage are: movement of a node in the route from its neighbor's signal range and any node in the route may run ...

Performance of route caching strategies in Dynamic Source Routing
Proceedings 21st International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems Workshops, 2002On-demand routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks utilize route caching in different forms in order to reduce the routing overheads as well as to improve the route discovery latency. For route caches to be effective, they need to adapt to frequent topology changes.

Dynamic Source Routing Using Directional Antenna
2015 Second International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering, 2015A directional antenna can provide a more stable path by increasing the coverage range and reducing the no of hops. It can also solves many problems like channel interference and spatial reuse. In Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs), the research about directional antennas has been restricted mostly to medium access control.

Adaptive route maintenance strategy for dynamic source routing protocol
2008 5th IFIP International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN '08), 2008Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) [1,2], which is an on-demand routing protocol, becomes the most popular source routing protocol for MANET. Each mobile node is required to maintain route caches that contain the source routes of which the mobile is aware. Although DSR can respond a route quickly, it yields a long delay when a route is rebuilt.

Dynamic interdomain wavelength routing based on source routing in ASON
SPIE Proceedings, 2006The inter-domain and intra-domain routings are treated jointly with dynamically distributed algorithms in automatic switched optical networks (ASON) based on source routing. The simulation results show that the performance of the blocking probability is improved.

Trust-Based Route Selection in Dynamic Source Routing
2006Unlike traditional mobile wireless networks, ad hoc networks do not rely on any fixed infrastructure. Nodes rely on each other to route packets to other mobile nodes or toward stationary nodes that may act as a gateway to a fixed network. Mobile nodes are generally assumed to participate as routers in the mobile wireless network.

SRDP: Secure route discovery for dynamic source routing in MANETs
Ad Hoc Networks, 2009Abstract Routing is a critical function in multi-hop mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). A number of MANET-oriented routing protocols have been proposed, of which DSR is widely considered both the simplest and the most effective. At the same time, security in MANETs – especially, routing security – presents a number of new and interesting challenges ...
