Influence of material removal on the dynamic behavior of thin-walled structures in peripheral milling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Machining is a material removal process that alters the dynamic properties during machining operations. The peripheral milling of a thin-walled structure generates vibration of the workpiece and this influences the quality of the machined surface.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Dinámica de la frecuencia del Sistema Interconectado Ecuador-Colombia

open access: yesRevista Científica de Ingeniería Energética, 2010
This paper presents a procedure to study the dynamics of the frequency of theinterconnected system Ecuador-Colombia when a generation unit comes out of thesystem, and when one doesn't have the necessary information of the electric Colombiansystem ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

DYNAMIC MATRIX GAMES AND THEIR MIXED EXTENSION

open access: yesВестник Кемеровского государственного университета, 2014
A new class of game models, called dynamic matrix games (DMG) was introduced in [2] as a generalization of the classical matrix games considering the time factor.

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Coordinated Optimization of Generator Excitation System for Improving Transmission Capacity of Power System

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2019
For long-distance AC transmission system from energy base to load center, the system damping is insufficient when N–1 fault occurs, which leads to the reduction of transmission capacity.
