Fiscal rules and monetary policy in a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper an anti-cyclical fiscal policy rule is introduced into a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model with New-Keynesian features. The rule allows the deficit to deviate from target in proportion to the impact of automatic stabilisers while

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

Noisy Stochastic Games [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper establishes existence of a stationary Markov perfect equilibrium in general stochastic games with noise—a component of the state that is nonatomically distributed and not directly affected by the previous period’s state and actions.

Block Recursive Equilibria for Stochastic Models of Search on the Job [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, we develop a general stochastic model of directed search on the job. Analogous to models of random search on the job, the state of the economy in our model includes the infinite-dimensional distribution of workers across different ...

Identification and Characterization of an In Silico Designed Membrane‐Active Peptide with Antiviral Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An evolutionary molecular dynamics platform is used to design P1.6, a membrane‐active peptide that senses lipid packing defects in viral envelopes. P1.6 adopts a stabilized α‐helical structure upon membrane contact, disrupts virus‐like liposomes, and damages HIV‐1 particles.

SIR Epidemic Model with General Nonlinear Incidence Rate and Lévy Jumps

open access: yesMathematics
This article proposes a stochastic SIR model with general nonlinear incidence and Lévy jumps, which is used to describe diseases spreading in human populations.

Conditional Exchange Rate Pass-Through to Consumer Prices in Iran: A DSGE Approach [PDF]

open access: yesپژوهشهای اقتصادی, 2018
The main goal of this paper is to analyze the exchange rate pass-through, the relationship between exchange rate and prices, provided that a shock occurs and changes exchange rate and prices.

Evaluating Asset Pricing Implications of DSGE Models [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper conducts an econometric evaluation of structural macroeconomic asset pricing models. A one-sector dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model (DSGE) with habit formation and capital adjustment costs is considered.

The Credit Spread and U.S. Business Cycles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, we construct a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model in order to investigate the impact of credit spread shocks on the U.S. business cycle.

Principles for Rigorous Design and Application of Synthetic Microbial Communities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SynComs are artificially designed to enable inter‐species metabolic interactions, metabolic division of labor, and ecological interactions that can elicit phenotypes like colonization stability and environmental adaptation. This systematic review explores the processes used to construct SynComs, the assessment of the mechanisms of metabolic interaction
