Sensing and Filtering Environmental Fluctuations: The Case of Biomolecular Condensates in Plants
The diversity of plant condensates reflects constraints of sessile organisms to coordinate postembryonic development with environmental adaptation. This review examines how plants employ condensates to integrate temperature, light, redox, and nutrient signals.

Bayesian dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model of Kazakhstan
The article presents dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model of Kazakhstan and its parameters estimation by Bayesian methods. A feature of DSGE-approach is the use of the neo-Keynesian microeconomic foundation, which allows ...

Dynamic models with non clearing markets [PDF]
This article studies a new class of models which synthesize the two traditions of general equilibrium with nonclearing markets and imperfect competition on the one hand, and dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models on the other hand.

A physics‐based framework resolving graphite phase‐separation dynamics establishes a predictive, degradation‐aware fast‐charging methodology for commercial Li‐ion batteries. The resulting model‐informed protocol achieves 20%–80% state‐of‐charge in 14 min while matching the long‐term degradation of a commercial 25‐minute EV strategy.

The past, present, and future of macroeconomic forecasting [PDF]
Broadly defined, macroeconomic forecasting is alive and well. Nonstructural forecasting, which is based largely on reduced-form correlations, has always been well and continues to improve.

Exfoliated‐MoS2 Gradual Resistive Switching Devices as Artificial Synapses
A vertical memristor based on untreated, exfoliated MoS2 is presented, revealing gradual resistive switching governed by Schottky barrier modulation at the MoS2/metal interface from the trapping/detrapping of charges. Furthermore, the device emulates synaptic‐like plasticity functions, including: potentiation, depression, and spike‐amplitude‐dependent ...

Adaptive microfoundations for emergent macroeconomics [PDF]
In this paper we present the basics of a research program aimed at providing microfoundations to macroeconomic theory on the basis of computational agentbased adaptive descriptions of individual behavior.

A combination of discrete and finite element method models for the current collector deformation and electrochemical performance analysis, respectively. The models are calibrated and validated with electrochemical and imaging data of hard carbon electrodes. These electrodes were manufactured with different parameters (slurry solid contents of 35 and 40

Testing Creative Destruction in an Opening Economy: the Case of the South African Manufacturing Industries [PDF]
We study a Lucas (1978) "fruit-tree" economy under the assumption that agents are Choquet expected utility (CEU) rather than standard expected utility (EU) decision makers.

Price Transmission During Promotions: A Case Study of Spanish Milk Brands
ABSTRACT Price promotion is the marketing tool typically used by retail brands to boost sales and gain market share. In this paper, we intend to investigate the price transmission mechanism among competitive brands in Spain when price reductions that are associated with price promotions take place.
