Aqueous Humor Dynamics in Low-tension Glaucoma
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1993We measured the diurnal aqueous humor flow in patients with low-tension glaucoma by clearance of topically applied fluorescein. Ten patients with low-tension glaucoma participated in the study, and ten age-matched healthy volunteers served as control subjects. The diurnal aqueous humor flow was 2.58 +/- 0.78 microliters/min (mean +/- standard deviation)

Dynamic adhesion tension measurement
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1973Abstract The Wilhelmy plate technique can be used to measure the adhesion tension, τ, which is the product of the surface tension and the cosine of the contact angle. By continuously monitoring the force on the sensing element, dynamic adhesion tension measurements can be made.

Dynamic Interfacial Tension of Polymer Solutions
Interfacial tension is recognised to play a key role in emulsion stability. Surfactants are commercially employed to reduce the interfacial tension between two phases and retard phase separation. This inquiry examines the means by which polymer surfactants reduce interfacial tension.openaire +2 more sources
Tensions in the ΛCDM and vacuum dynamics
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2018Recent analyses of modern cosmological data show that the [Formula: see text] hypothesis, despite being the canonical framework, might well not be the most favored one from the phenomenological point of view. A number of persisting tensions with the observations (particularly with the data on structure formation and the local measurements of the ...

The Dynamics of Sino–American Tension
Abstract This chapter reviews the conclusions from the previous chapters and focuses more specifically on the evolving relationship between China and the United States. It points to the intriguing—and seemingly surprising—phenomenon from the realist perspective that China’s neighbors are not balancing (militarily) against it.openaire +1 more source
