Fault diagnosis is important for ensuring chemical processes stability and safety. The strong nonlinearity and complexity of batch chemical processes make such diagnosis more difficult than that for continuous processes. In this paper, a new fault diagnosis methodology is proposed for batch chemical processes, based on an artificial immune system (AIS)

An enhanced dynamic time warping model for improved estimation of DTW parameters
IEEE Transactions on Speech and Audio Processing, 2003We introduce an enhanced dynamic time warping model (EDTW) which, unlike conventional dynamic time warping (DTW), considers all possible alignment paths for recognition as well as for parameter estimation. The model, for which DTW and the hidden Markov model (HMM) are special cases, is based on a well-defined quality measure.

This paper is focused on Malay speech recognition with the intention to introduce a decision fusion technique for isolated Malay digit recognition using Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) and Hidden Markov Model (HMM). This study proposes an algorithm for decision fusion of the recognition models.

The Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) distance is a popular similarity measure for polygonal curves (i.e., sequences of points). It finds many theoretical and practical applications, especially for temporal data, and is known to be a robust, outlier-insensitive

Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) based GNSS Interference Detection Algorithm for Edge Devices
The International Technical Meeting of the The Institute of Navigation, 2021Edge computing combines low power consumption with high compute capability for edge devices needing robust processing and recognition capability. This paper explores developing a Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) GNSS interference detection algorithm designed to operate on an ultra-low power, high-performance multicore microcontroller for edge devices. This
