Thermoplastic Rubbers via Dynamic Vulcanization

Polymer Blends and Alloys, 2019
Thermoplastic dynamic vulcanizates (TDV), also called elastomer alloy thermoplastic vulcanizates, belong to a novel family of thermoplastic rubbers. Again, learning from the structure formation of melt-blended impact-modified thermoplastics will help us to understand some basic rules of the microstructure development in TDVs.

Thermoplastic Elastomers by Dynamic Vulcanization

Progress in Rubber, Plastics and Recycling Technology, 2005
The present paper introduces various topics and aspects of dynamic vulcanization as applied to thermoplastic elastomers. The classification of polymer blends and thermoplastic elastomers, the development of thermoplastic vulcanizates, and the use of various types of crosslinking systems (with special emphasis on peroxides/co-agents, and phenolic resins

Dynamically Vulcanized Thermoplastic Elastomers

Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1996
Abstract Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) exhibit the functional properties of conventional thermoset rubber, yet can be processed on thermoplastic fabrication equipment. The great majority of TPEs have hetero-phase morphology, whether the TPE is derived from block copolymers, rubber-plastic compositions or ionomers. Generally speaking, the hard

Dynamic vulcanization and thermoplastic elastomers

Macromolecular Symposia, 2001
Ageing and electrical conductivity of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) have been studied. It is shown that incorporation of LDPE leads to more stable structure of TPE during ageing. Electrical conductivity of TPE depends on blending condition.
